Mike Bray brings close to 40 years of marketing experience to the table, 20 years of that experience has been on-line where he has sold everything from satellite TV to sports attire and from SEO services to vacation packages. Bray started selling eBooks in 2007 to help longtime friends and established authors L. J. and Kat Martin breath some life into their floundering backlist’s of romance and western titles.
In a short amount of time he had Amazon’s ranking and referral algorithms figured out and the Martin’s on-line sales sky-rocketed.
In 2013 Mike and L. J. Martin started Wolfpack Publishing, a publishing imprint specializing in western fiction and men’s adventure. Wolfpack Publishing has enjoyed rapid expansion, growing to over 800 titles and is the top distributer for western fiction on Amazon. Martin retired earlier this year selling his Wolfpack Publishing stock to Bray.
City Lights Press is a new imprint under the Wolfpack Publishing corporate umbrella. Our target market is Romance and Young Adult. We see City Lights Press following a similar growth path as the Wolfpack Publishing imprint and we have already signed contracts with half a dozen talented authors.
City lights Press accepts unsolicited manuscripts in most genres. And special consideration is given to authors with rights to their back list.
Hey, my name is Rachel Del Grosso (it’s pronounced “del-grow-so” but you wouldn’t be the first person to mispronounce it). I’m a mother, wife, writer and avid reader living in Las Vegas, Nevada. I’m Canadian (eh!) and consume far more coffee in a twenty-four-hour period than any one person should. In fact, I’m convinced that my body is made up of more coffee than anything else. This may explain how I manage to read as many books as I do. A journaler and short story writer from an embarrassingly early age, I began writing contemporary romance novels in 2015 under the pen name, Rachel Del.
I am a Business Administration-Marketing graduate of Conestoga College in Ontario, Canada. How I ended up in Las Vegas, Nevada is actually a great story (hint: it involves a handsome man and a little thing called L-O-V-E). If you ever meet my husband, be sure to ask him to tell you the story.
I joined the Wolfpack Publishing team as Operations Manager in February 2015 and was promoted to Managing Editor in June 2017. In this position, I oversee and coordinate all editorial activities, as well as oversee the acquisition and development of manuscripts.
Prior to working for Wolfpack, I worked in search engine marketing for one of Canada’s leading internet marketing firms. My additional work experience includes executive administrative roles and project management in the field of outdoor advertising.
I’m one of those introverted people who is only really shy until I get to know you… and once you do you won’t be able to get me to stop talking. But I’d still rather sit at home with a good book than go to a party. I’m also the kind of person who sings in their car—you can decide for yourself what that says about me, but personally, I think it’s a good thing. One needs to be able to laugh at themselves.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know me! I love to chat, so if you want to get to know me better, drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org or tweet me @racheldelxo
Hey, my name is Lauren Bridges but my friends call me Lo. I’m a California girl still trying to understand life in Las Vegas but enjoying every minute of it. I am the youngest of six girls and usually get called spoiled but always deny it. I am the aunt to three and am always striving to be the “cool aunt.” Most importantly, I am a crazy dog mom to Nash (aka Nashville), who I spend all my time with.
I am a recent graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where I got my degree in Journalism and Media Studies in 2016. I began my education at California State University, Sacramento where being a student athlete on the cheerleading team took up most of my time. In the middle of this educational transition I took some time off to move to Florida and work with the man named Mickey Mouse.
My last year at UNLV I was lucky enough to intern with a full-service media company in Las Vegas where I managed multiple social media accounts and got a glimpse of working in the industry. Combine that with being the webmaster of my sorority, Sigma Sigma Sigma, I was able to find my current position.
I joined the Wolfpack Publishing team in May 2016, shortly after graduation, as an Editorial Assistant. A year later I was promoted to Content Manager where I have the primary responsibility of managing and feeding content to a large network of web properties. A short time later we started CKN Christian Publishing, an imprint of Wolfpack, that I now have the pleasure of managing.
Since I can remember, I have always had a book in my hand and cancelled plans in order to stay home and read, not much has changed. Other than that you can usually find me at the dog park or by the pool soaking up the Las Vegas heat.
